The incident occurred on August 18 this year in Jelenia Góra, when police officers were called to intervene following a report from one of the residents. – The report indicated that the man threatened to set his neighbor’s house on fire and made other criminal threats against him – explains asp. szt. Monika Kaleta from the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

As officers determined, the 40-year-old had been persistently harassing both his neighbors and family members since the beginning of the year. His behavior caused growing fear and a sense of danger among those closest to him. Officers arrested the aggressor immediately after the incident and then took him to a police unit.
The man was charged with making criminal threats and persistent harassment. He will now face trial for the offenses committed. Under applicable regulations, he could face up to 3 years in prison.
On August 20 this year, the District Court in Jelenia Góra ordered the suspect to be held in temporary custody for 3 months.
