On August 13, 2025, at approximately 7:15 a.m., the duty officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra was notified that six fuzes from World War II had been found in a forest stream in Piechowice. Officers: – Jelenia Góra police officers secured the site until the bomb-disposal specialists from the Military unit in Bolesławiec arrived.
