The incident occurred on August 11, at approximately 8:30 a.m., on Staroszkolna Street in Bolesławiec. As officers determined, a 71-year-old driver of a Renault vehicle failed to notice an 80-year-old woman walking along the pedestrian and cyclist path. He struck the senior, causing her to fall and suffer fractures to her spine and forearm.
The woman was taken to hospital. Officers appeal for caution and prudence on the road.
