The incident occurred on Monday in Olszyna. As eluban.pl determined:
(...) the van driver, traveling toward Lubań, decided to turn left from the lane for straight-ahead traffic. The maneuver surprised the motorcyclist traveling behind him. Heavy braking ended with a forward somersault, which the motorcyclist performed together with the motorcycle, which also hit the rear of the van.
Fortunately, no one suffered any more serious injuries, and the incident was classified as a collision. Police determined that the motorcyclist was responsible because he had failed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of him. – The van driver, who turned left at the intersection from the lane for straight-ahead traffic, was also fined – Justyna Bujakiewicz-Rodzeń, press officer of the KPP in Lubań, told the local outlet.
