Police officers from Kruszyn stopped a passenger car for a traffic check. It was being driven by a 46-year-old resident of Legnica County. As it turned out, the 46-year-old was subject to a court-imposed ban on driving motor vehicles, which remains in force until August 2011.
The man offered the officers €110 in exchange for abandoning their official duties. He now faces up to 10 years in prison.
