Plastic bags containing narcotic substances were secured in the rooms used by the man; they could yield nearly 850 retail doses of methamphetamine.

The police department adds: – The officers also secured electronic scales, mobile phones and cash, suggesting that he was involved in the illegal trade of substances prohibited by law.

The man was taken to the local prosecutor’s office, where he was charged with possessing a significant quantity of drugs and trafficking in narcotic substances.

The suspect was placed under police supervision. His assets were also secured against potential future penalties.

The 42-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
