Residents of Bolesławiec and the surrounding area may once again spot the distinctive vehicle with cameras on its roof. A Google Street View car recently appeared in the Kwiatowe housing estate, and according to readers’ reports, it was also seen in other parts of the city and in Bolesławiec County.
Google systematically updates street images in its Street View service, available in Google Maps. Every visit by such a car means that new panoramas will soon appear on the maps — more up-to-date views of buildings, roads and urban infrastructure.
The new images will be added to Google Maps and will be available in Street View. However, their publication may take several months — Google processes the collected material, blurring pedestrians’ faces and license plates before it is published online.
