After last week’s gas leak and evacuation of patients and staff from Szpital św. Łukasza in Bolesławiec, the facility’s major investment was suspended for safety reasons.
Construction of the project, worth PLN 20 million, has just resumed after protective works were carried out and an inspection by the construction supervision inspector was completed.
As the head of Szpital św. Łukasza in Bolesławiec, Kamil Barczyk, announces, the incident of 9 July should not delay the investment. What is more, in the director’s opinion, the county-run facility passed this difficult test thanks to appropriate procedures and good cooperation with the emergency services. (No one was injured).
