The scope of work included a thorough renovation of the facades, as well as numerous conservation and repair works. The stone facade elements and window surrounds were cleaned, plasterwork was repaired and painted, and damaged stone details and gypsum stucco were reconstructed.

The renovation also included replacing sheet-metal flashings and removing numerous secondary elements attached to the facades. As part of the project, the following work was carried out, among other things:

  • replacement of bars on the windows of rooms requiring security measures,
  • a new balustrade structure above the entrance to building no. 7,
  • anchoring the pillars of the entrance portal and reinforcing their foundations,
  • replacement of the doors to the former service access to the basement of building no. 6,
  • renovation of the entrance doors to both buildings.

The total value of the investment was PLN 688,399.99. To carry out the work, Bolesławiec County obtained funding of PLN 392,000 from the Government Polish Deal Fund: Strategic Investment Programme.

The contractor for the work was Monumentum Sp. z o.o. from Wrocław. Authorial supervision was provided by the “ARCHICO” Design Studio partnership, Janusz Czarniecki and Ireneusz Podolski, while conservation supervision was conducted by the “Restona” Art Conservation Studio, Łukasz Uroczyński, from Legnica.
