It was MOSiR director Paweł Dul who reported the situation to the police. The lifeguard was removed from duty, and the company filled the staffing gaps.

As P. Dul informed us, the external company whose services MOSiR uses assured them that this man will not return to the Bolesławiec swimming pool.

This was the first incident of this kind at the facility. Hopefully, it will be the last.

The incident occurred on July 6. The police received information that a lifeguard under the influence of alcohol was at the new summer swimming pools on Spacerowa Street.

The officers confirmed the report. It turned out that the 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County had more than one per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath. The man will be held responsible for a misdemeanor.
