On Tuesday, 5 April, Bolesławiec police officers caught two men and a woman red-handed as they tried to defraud a loan of over PLN 21,000 using a forged employment certificate. The detainees include two residents of Bolesławiec County (both aged 25) and a 30-year-old resident of Lubań County.
The gang had been carrying out its scheme since December of the previous year. It was established that the suspects had seven other attempted frauds to their name. Investigators estimate that the three of them may have defrauded approximately PLN 20,000. They now face up to 8 years in prison.
