Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn detained a 52-year-old man who was driving under the influence of alcohol. At the time of his detention, he had nearly 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system.
Bolesławiec police:
The man destroyed a warning triangle that had been placed on the road by a driver who had previously hit an animal. When the reporting party noticed that the person behind the wheel of the car that had struck the reflective device was intoxicated, he immediately reacted by taking the keys from the ignition.
A police patrol detained a Ukrainian citizen. After sobering up, the 52-year-old was brought before the Bolesławiec court under expedited proceedings, where he heard the judgment.
The convicted man was fined, banned from driving for three years and required to pay PLN 5,000 to the Fund for Assistance to Victims and Post-Penitentiary Assistance.
