Update
As reported by MZGM Bolesławiec:
There are currently more than 400 bins installed throughout the city. The number of containers has not decreased.
And it assures us: – The areas under our administration are monitored and cleaned on an ongoing basis.
It also emphasizes: – The bins throughout the city were placed taking pedestrian traffic and residents’ needs into account.
What is more, as noted in the response: MZGM is not the administrator of the area adjacent to the Bóbr River.
A reader wrote to us: “Perhaps you would be willing to address the lack of rubbish bins in Bolesławiec? I have the impression that, month by month, more of them are disappearing and the city is getting dirtier and dirtier.”
She added:
The road to the park by the Bóbr: not a single bin; the roadside is now overgrown, but apart from that it has already become quite a dump. Right by the Bóbr there are literally only 3–4 bins, and they are so far apart that it is really ridiculous… What is going on with these bins constantly disappearing? What is the point of it all?
We asked MZGM about the matter. We will publish the response as soon as we receive it.
Is there a problem with rubbish bins in Bolesławiec? We invite you to discuss it.
