Parents from Kruszyn received information from an unknown source about a paedophile who was allegedly seen in the area. The police in Bolesławiec verified the message being circulated.
The information circulated by parents regarding a reward for helping establish the identity of the person in a forensic sketch dates back 20 years. There is currently no such announcement on the website of the Silesian Police.
If anyone notices any disturbing behaviour towards minors by anyone, the services should be notified, for example by calling 112.
The parents received and forwarded the following information about a paedophile, along with a photograph and description of a man originating from the website of the Katowice Police Headquarters.
Watch your children. For several days, a paedophile known as Cyclops has reportedly been seen on the bypass, in the Bolesławiec–Kruszyn direction, at around 7:00 a.m. Image below (there was a photograph here – editor’s note). He served his sentence, was based at Grodziec, and some time ago was driven out of there by residents. Stay vigilant! This information comes from another group. I do not know whether it is true, but I am forwarding it to you just in case.
The police warn that great caution should also be exercised when circulating someone’s image.
