– Arrested on June 5, 2025, in Bolków, the 34-year-old resident of Wałbrzych was charged – reports Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska, press spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra. – The District Prosecutor in Kamienna Góra charged him with three offenses.

These concern:

  1. active assault using a dangerous tool in the form of a passenger car against intervening police officers from the District Police Headquarters in Jawor and the Police Station in Bolków, in connection with the performance of their official duties related to the suspect’s arrest—an offense punishable by 1 to 10 years’ imprisonment;
  2. damage to property, namely a police car, a Lexus passenger car, and the façade of a shop building;
  3. using vehicle registration plates not assigned to the car on which they had been installed.

Questioned as a suspect, Grzegorz B. admitted to committing the offenses of which he was accused. He stated that he regretted his conduct. He refused to provide an explanation.

At the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded B. in temporary custody for three months. The spokesperson said:

The suspect had already been convicted by the courts multiple times, including for crimes against property, and is currently being sought by the District Court in Wałbrzych in order to serve a sentence of 1 year and 6 months’ imprisonment.
