The ceremony marks an important milestone in the history of the United States Army and highlights the strong partnership between US forces and their Polish hosts.
– This celebration is about more than just a birthday – it is a symbol of our shared history, reaching back to Tadeusz Kościuszko and Kazimierz Pułaski, who 250 years ago helped establish the United States Army during the War of Independence, and continuing to this day, when we are united by an unbreakable alliance within NATO – said Colonel Jesse Chace, commander of USAG Poland. – It is an honor for us to celebrate this special anniversary together with our Polish allies and the Bolesławiec community.
The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. with performances by Polish and American military bands. The official part of the ceremony will begin at 4:00 p.m. with speeches by the Mayor of Bolesławiec and the Commander of USAG Poland, followed by the ceremonial cutting of the birthday cake and a group rendition of “Happy Birthday”.
The rest of the evening will be devoted to entertainment – a band and DJ will take the stage. The event is scheduled to end at 8:00 p.m.
On June 14, 2025, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Bolesławiec’s Market Square will become a place to celebrate an extraordinary history. US Army:
