Nowogrodziec police officers detained a 32-year-old man who robbed his employer by transporting part of the company’s granulate used to build sports fields to the site of a private contract (the construction of a tennis court). Bolesławiec police headquarters: – The resident of Bolesławiec County was working for a company building sports fields in Wrocław and gradually transported company granulate in order to provide a service to a private individual.
The method of operation was similar. Officers said: – When one project was completed and his boss ordered him to transport materials to the site of the next construction project, the man used the company van to transport some of the property to the Nowogrodziec municipality.
The total losses were valued at nearly PLN 23,000. Colored granulate worth almost PLN 8,000 was secured; it had not yet been used to build the court. The remainder had already been attached to the surface.
The suspect confessed to the alleged offense. Theft is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
