Bolesławiec criminal investigators detained two people suspected of shoplifting. Officers:
The criminal pair stole two sets of building blocks worth nearly PLN 1,500.
The thieves sold the loot to a random person at a marketplace and split the proceeds equally.
That was not the end of it. Investigators: – The information gathered indicated that a month earlier, the man had also stolen two sets of building blocks by the same company from the same store, worth nearly PLN 1,200. The police recovered one set, which had been sold at a pawnshop.
Both Bolesławiec residents were charged. The 40-year-old will answer for one theft, while the 43-year-old faces charges for two. Both suspects face up to five years in prison.
