On Wednesday, March 23, an awards ceremony was held in Warsaw for local governments honored in the Best Illuminated Municipality/City 2010 competition, organized by Agencja SOMA, the Association of Lighting Industry Manufacturers and Employers, and the Association of Employers of Warsaw and Mazovia. Among cities and municipalities with fewer than 70,000 residents, Bolesławiec City Hall won first prize in the “Illumination of a Selected Space or Structure” category (for the illumination of the viaduct). The award was accepted by Mayor Piotr Roman.
