Bolesławiec traffic police received information that a vehicle stolen several hours earlier in Germany might be located in Bolesławiec County. Police: – The delivery van was distinctive because it featured an advertisement for a specific product.
The vehicle was parked in one of the public car parks in Bolesławiec municipality. There was no one inside. Interestingly, it already had Polish registration plates.

Checking the VIN confirmed that the vehicle secured by Bolesławiec police had been stolen and that the theft had been reported by the Berlin Police. The recovered property, worth more than PLN 50,000, will be returned to its owner.
Police officers are carrying out inquiries to establish who was driving the stolen van and under what circumstances the Polish registration plates came to be on it.
