In the evening, a young woman came to the Police Station in Nowogrodziec. Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:

The resident of Bolesławiec County was crying and trembling. Seeing that the situation was particularly delicate, the police officers calmly listened to the woman in need, who did not have a mobile phone with her and had walked several kilometres to seek help. The woman repeatedly said that she did not want to live and was thinking about suicide.

Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the officers provided her with psychological support and called medical services, which transported the exhausted woman to hospital.

The police officers remind us that we are never alone in crisis situations:

It is worth seeking support and not being afraid to ask for help, both from loved ones and from the appropriate services. If we notice that someone around us needs help, we should not delay, as a quick response can save someone’s life.
