Bolesławiec traffic police carried out operations, including on the A4 motorway. The District Police Headquarters:

The officers from Bolesławiec were supported by patrols from other counties, including Jelenia Góra, Kamienna Góra and Lwówek Śląski. In addition, the Bolesławiec section of the A4 was also monitored by officers from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław, who used a drone to work with patrols and identify truck drivers performing improper overtaking manoeuvres.

Officers: – The aim of the operation was also to monitor drivers’ behaviour that could affect the safety of all road users.

The result? Officers recorded 42 traffic violations (mainly excessive speed and breaching the overtaking ban), and seized 5 registration certificates (due to the vehicles’ technical condition). What is more, traffic police caught a drunk driver. The 44-year-old man from Bolesławiec had more than one per mille of alcohol in his system.
