– A forensic technician from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, while on holiday, noticed two men in a store whose behaviour aroused his suspicions. The men packed goods from the store shelves straight into their backpacks and tried to leave the store without paying – reports junior asp. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters. – The officer immediately intervened – he prevented the thieves from leaving the store, showing his service ID in the process.
A moment later, another police officer, who was also off duty at the time, came to support the officer on holiday. He immediately responded to his colleague’s call and arrived at the store very quickly.

Police officers called to the scene from the Bolesławiec unit took over the suspects accused of taking someone else’s property. As it turned out, this was not the first visit by the residents of Bolesławiec to the store. The thieves had counted on no one noticing their brazen actions in the rural area.
Theft may be punishable by up to five years in prison.
