At the beginning of May, we published information about a brutal attack at a venue in Bolesławiec, also noting that the Bolesławiec police were looking for the perpetrator. A dozen or so hours later, we received an email from a Reader who provided the suspected man's first and last name. We passed the information on to the police.
As it turned out, the Reader's tip was accurate. The suspect was arrested. The police reported on the case:
A few days ago, the image of a man who, during the night of February 28 to March 1, 2025, headbutted the nose of the reporting party at a food-service venue, causing a bone fracture, was published on the website of the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
The help provided by a reader of one of the Bolesławiec news portals proved extremely valuable. The reader identified the man shown in the publication. In the following days, the investigating officer received several more pieces of information confirming the initial identification.
The 28-year-old from Bolesławiec County was arrested and charged under Article 157 § 1 of the Criminal Code.

The incident took place in the city at night, from February 28 to March 1, 2025, at a food-service venue. Shortly after entering the building, an unknown man approached a Bolesławiec resident and, after saying a few words, headbutted the resident in the nose. The attack was so forceful that it caused bodily harm, as the nasal bone was fractured.
