On Saturday, 19 March, soldiers of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade underwent a fitness test. The 23-kilometre march took place at the Świętoszów Training Area of the Land Forces. During the test, the artillerymen were required, among other things, to roll a 1.7-tonne cannon over a distance of 100 metres.
The team commanded by Captain Cezary Kaczmarczyk won. Soldiers from the rocket artillery squadron, commanded by Lieutenant Przemysław Grzegorek, came second. The artillerymen of the Fire Support Groups took third place (their commander is Captain Stanisław Grzybowski).
The Association of Former Soldiers of the 62nd Special Company “Commando”, which has been cooperating with the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade for years, helped prepare the march.
