Let us recall:

The victim’s father informed us about the incident. According to his account, on February 26, before 4:00 p.m., his 13-year-old son was traveling by city bus. As the bus driver was turning into the terminus on Gałczyńskiego Street, the so-called loop, near the School Complex of Construction Trades, he suddenly made a sharp braking maneuver. As a result, the 13-year-old fell and cut his head on the bus equipment. The bus driver did not react, and despite the bleeding wound, fortunately the boy managed to reach home on his own.

The head wound required stitches. At the hospital in Bolesławiec, eight stitches were applied and the necessary examinations were carried out. The boy was then taken to a hospital in Legnica for observation. As a result of the incident, the teenager suffered serious harm to his health and required treatment by specialist doctors.

The police filed a motion with the court against the bus driver. The case concerns Article 86 § 1a of the Code of Petty Offenses.

To find out what stage the case is currently at, we asked the Injured Party’s Representative, Zbigniew Zawada, for comment.

Zbigniew Zawada – owner of Biuro Ronin:

MZK’s management showed a far-reaching understanding of the Injured Party’s situation and answered the insurer’s questions concerning the circumstances of the incident. Thanks to this, everything was clarified and an agreement was reached with the insurer. We are currently awaiting the consent of the Family Court in Bolesławiec to conclude a settlement on behalf of the injured minor.

It is worth emphasizing that, in today’s world, the empathy shown by MZK management in Bolesławiec toward the Injured Party in this case is extremely rare. Therefore, on behalf of the Injured Party and his parents, I would like to thank them for their understanding.

We often forget that understanding someone’s situation and helping another person are the most important things. They demonstrate our humanity, which cannot be bought with any amount of money. This is extremely important and valuable, especially in today’s world.
