At night from Friday to Saturday, between Bolesławiec and Kruszyn, a passenger-car driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into road barriers. A man who witnessed the incident reacted immediately. And as soon as he saw the condition of the person responsible for the collision, he prevented him from driving any further.
Bolesławiec police headquarters: – Traffic officers checked the 46-year-old’s sobriety; the test showed 3 per mille of alcohol in his system. The female passenger was also intoxicated.
What is more, it emerged that the 46-year-old had a court-imposed driving ban in force until July 2027.
Driving while intoxicated carries a sentence of up to 3 years in prison, while breaking a court-imposed ban can result in up to five years behind bars.
