The incident occurred on 13 April, after 4:00 p.m., in Golnice. The Toyota driver, a 60-year-old man from Szczecin, wanted to overtake a lorry. However, he failed to notice that a motorcycle was approaching from the opposite direction. To avoid colliding with the motorcycle, he drove into a nearby ditch.
The car's passenger was injured and was taken to hospital with spinal injuries.
Officers appeal for prudence and caution on the road.
