On April 4, 2025, a forest-planting campaign began in the Bolesławiec Forest District, with Lower Silesian firefighters among those actively taking part.

The event, organized by the Regional Directorate of State Forests in Wrocław, aims to restore forest resources and promote environmentally friendly initiatives. Tree planting is still underway—firefighters, together with foresters and other participants, are working with commitment to plant as many young trees as possible and contribute to environmental protection.
Representatives of the district PSP commands from Złotoryja, Zgorzelec, Lubin and Bolesławiec also joined the effort, including the commander of the Bolesławiec district PSP command, senior brigadier Andrzej Śliwowski and section officer Alicja Piffer-Bawół.
The uniformed services summed it up: “Thank you all for your commitment and contribution to nature conservation! Planting is ongoing—we are creating a green future together!
