The incident occurred at noon on March 19 this year. While on duty on national road no. 30, Lwówecka traffic police received a report about a vehicle in which a man was transporting his wife, who was in labor. – Every minute counted, so the officers immediately took action and began escorting the car, ensuring its safe and efficient journey to the hospital in Jelenia Góra – explains junior aspirant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski.
She adds: – Thanks to the police car’s escort, the expectant parents reached their destination quickly and safely. Just ten minutes after arriving at the hospital, a healthy boy was born. The happy father made no secret of his gratitude to the officers who helped him at such an important moment in his life.
