On Monday, 17 March, around noon, officers from the Złotoryja traffic police noticed a Toyota driver on the A4 who was travelling in the left lane at considerable speed. – Seeing the vehicle behind him, in which police officers were travelling, the driver decided to accelerate instead of moving into the right lane, reaching a speed of 207 km/h at one point – reports Senior Sergeant Monika Kaleta from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław. – The officers immediately decided to stop the reckless driving, signalling to the driver that the vehicle he had been “racing” was an unmarked police car.
The 43-year-old Ukrainian citizen was fined PLN 2,500 and received 15 penalty points.
