What did Gucio cut off for himself? Can you give a ram a piggyback ride? What happened to the princess’s nose? Anyone who took part in the final of the 4th County Vocal and Recitation Competition for Kindergartens and Grades 1–3, “POECI- DZIECIOM,” organized by the County Centre for Education and Staff Training in Bolesławiec, knows.

On the stage of the Old Theatre on 26 February 2025, 69 preschoolers and pupils from schools in Bolesławiec County presented their recitation and vocal skills. The County Competition Committee assessed diction, interpretation, the originality of the repertoire and its suitability for the performer’s age, as well as the overall artistic impression. Twenty-eight laureates were selected in two categories: singing a poem and reciting a poem—separately for preschoolers and pupils.

We sincerely congratulate the laureates and all the participants, as well as the teachers, parents and guardians.
