A reader asked us to raise this issue and wrote:

There should be time-limited parking on Prusa Street. For example, one hour. It is the main street leading to the Market Square, where there are shops and bars. It is difficult to park here because the premises’ owners themselves occupy all the parking spaces! This includes the space for people with disabilities.

He also added that until recently, a bollard blocked Prusa Street in the evening hours, making it impossible to drive onto the street precisely when people were heading to one of the restaurants located there.

Parking a car in Bolesławiec has long been a serious problem—even with the paid parking zone operating. This may not be a popular view, but it must be said here that without the zone, things would be even worse. Further solutions are undoubtedly needed. Perhaps time-limited parking, or perhaps a trend toward walking to restaurants, using taxis or other forms of transport? What are your opinions on this subject? We invite you to join the discussion.
