According to police findings, the driver of a Buick, a 70-year-old resident of Karkonosze County, lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a correctly travelling Citroen driven by a 24-year-old from Bolesławiec County. The people travelling in the cars received medical assistance at the scene. Both drivers were sober.
It should be added that, when the vehicle collision occurred, driving conditions on the roads were difficult. The roads were slippery due to heavy snowfall.
