– Police officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn, based on operational findings, identified a man suspected in the theft of a jacket containing a wallet, documents, a payment card and cash. The incident occurred on January 26 in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality – reports junior asp. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec. – The 50-year-old took advantage of the victim leaving the property unattended. The perpetrator has already previously appropriated someone else’s property.
She adds: – During a search of the detainee’s place of residence, police officers secured items belonging to the victim. The officers recovered all the items except the cash.
The suspect admitted to the alleged offense. Theft is punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
