The tragedy occurred on January 25, 2025, in one of the apartments on Sobieskiego Street in Siedlce. A party was taking place there, attended by six people, including 59-year-old Siedlce resident Adam C.

– At one point, the man, who was heavily under the influence of alcohol, began to feel unwell and notified the emergency medical services by telephone – prosecutor Krystyna Gołąbek, press spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Siedlce, reports. – After examining Adam C., the paramedics who arrived at the scene informed him that, due to the head injuries they had discovered, the injury needed to be treated in a hospital.

C. then attacked one of the paramedics with a knife, stabbing him in the chest area. The paramedic died as a result of his injuries.

The other paramedic, while attempting to restrain the attacker, was wounded by him near the right wrist.

Adam C. was arrested immediately after the incident and, due to the head injuries diagnosed in him, is currently in hospital under the supervision of police officers.

Prosecutor:

Procedural activities involving the arrested man – presenting him with the charges and questioning him as a suspect – will take place after the doctors provide their opinion on whether the arrested man is able to participate in the activities.
Other procedural activities aimed at establishing the circumstances of the incident are currently being carried out in this case.

Yesterday, the murdered paramedic was honored throughout the country. Among those who did so were firefighters from Bolesławiec County and paramedics from Bolesławiec.
