On January 17, diesel at the BP station in Bolesławiec cost PLN 6.66 per litre, while 95-octane petrol cost PLN 6.59 per litre. It was slightly cheaper at Circle K, MOL and ORLEN stations.

However, it was much cheaper at the Pieprzyk station on Modłowa Street. Prices there have remained at PLN 6.15 per litre of diesel and PLN 6.05 per litre of 95-octane petrol for quite some time. For now, this is the station helping to ease drivers’ budgets in Bolesławiec.

And what are the average retail fuel prices nationwide?

According to e-petrol.pl*, the average price of diesel is PLN 6.29 per litre, while the price of 95-octane petrol is PLN 6.15 per litre. Fuel is becoming more expensive throughout Poland. The price of crude oil on the exchanges is rising, and the dollar is also strengthening against the zloty.

Fuel prices are also affected by US sanctions on Russian oil. Fuel-market analysts forecast further increases in the coming week.

Let us recall that the issue of high fuel prices in Bolesławiec was reported to the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK).
