The incident occurred at the municipal cemetery in Lwówek Śląski. Readers informed the lwowecki.info service about the case:

(…) most likely just after the funeral ceremony, when the mourners and the funeral home staff who had conducted the ceremony had left the cemetery, an as-yet unidentified perpetrator stole flowers placed on the grave. According to the deceased’s relatives, approximately 70 burgundy and tea roses were removed from the wreaths.

The theft is punishable by up to five years in prison.
