Two men were drinking alcohol together. The injured man bought his acquaintance a beer. The latter, however, most likely did not want to return the favor—he did not want to buy a second round. A scuffle broke out, during which 52-year-old Grzegorz Ch. stabbed Krzysztof K.
with a knife.The injuries sustained by K. threatened his life and health. The man was saved thanks to the medics’ swift response.
The knifeman was arrested in the evening. The prosecutor’s office charged him with attempted murder. At the investigators’ request, the court remanded the aggressor in temporary custody for three months.
Grzegorz Ch. confessed to committing the alleged offense. However, he explained that the injured man had started the scuffle with him.
The 52-year-old could face life imprisonment.
