On Tuesday, officers equipped with a specialist drone appeared on the A4 in Bolesławiec County. They used it to check, among other things, whether truck drivers were violating the overtaking ban.
Using the device, police officers can observe numerous violations—both serious ones and minor offences, such as using a mobile phone improperly while driving or failing to wear seat belts. What is more, the drone allows them to record the offence, which then constitutes important evidence in the case.
On 10 December, police officers with a drone appeared in our county. However, as the officers announce, this type of operation will continue in various locations throughout our province.
