– Criminal investigators from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters, as a result of intensive activities related to a report concerning a break-in at a container and the theft of property of considerable value, identified the perpetrator and recovered the property within several dozen hours – reports Staff Warrant Officer Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.

The crime took place on the night of November 26–27 this year in Bolesławiec County. The spokesperson says: – After breaking into the container, various medical supplies were stolen, including blood sugar sensors. Intensive operational activities led to the arrest of a 30-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality.

The police then located the place where the valuable loot had been hidden. Property worth more than PLN 160,000 was secured by Criminal Department officers and returned to its rightful owner.

The suspect was charged with burglary, for which he faces up to 10 years in prison. In addition, the prosecutor imposed police supervision and a ban on leaving the country. Activities aimed at arresting the second perpetrator are ongoing.

Burglary carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
