The incident took place at the beginning of November. – In the evening and at night, a young driver deliberately put his BMW into a skid in front of one of the supermarkets, showing off with so-called “drifts” – reports asp. szt. Krzysztof Pawlik, deputy press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lubin. – As a result, the paving on the car park was damaged, and its owners assessed the losses at PLN 2,800.
Criminal investigators, who were notified of the incident somewhat later, identified the perpetrator—it was a 21-year-old man from Lubin. The young man was arrested.
Spokesperson:
The suspect admitted to the charge and exercised his right to voluntarily submit to punishment, which will amount to no less than PLN 2,000, as well as the obligation to repair the damage, i.e. to pay the injured party PLN 2,800.
He also adds:
We warn that every such act will be severely punished and prosecuted in accordance with the law. In addition, showing off in a car carries a huge risk of an accident and, apart from severe legal consequences, can lead to someone’s tragedy.
