A tragic accident occurred on December 2, before 3:00 p.m., in Zgorzelec. – Zgorzelec police officers from the Road Traffic Department, a forensic technician and an expert in the reconstruction of road accidents worked at the scene – reports Superintendent Agnieszka Goguł, press officer for the Commander of the County Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec.
She adds: – According to the preliminary findings, a 45-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, driving an Alfa Romeo, crossed into the opposite lane and collided with a Škoda. Then, as a result of the force of the impact, the Škoda struck a Hyundai. Unfortunately, despite resuscitation efforts, the driver of the Alfa Romeo died.
Police and the prosecutor’s office are establishing the causes and circumstances of the incident.
