The incident occurred on November 30. Firefighters from Nowogrodziec received a report concerning an unconscious person in a detached house in Nowogrodziec:

Upon arriving at the scene, we provide qualified first aid (oxygen therapy, psychological support and thermal insulation) and monitor vital signs until the emergency medical services arrive.

And they add: – The nature of the incident suggested carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, as the incident occurred in a room with a gas heater. A multi-gas detector indicated the presence of this dangerous gas.

One person was injured and transported to hospital. The uniformed officers sum up: – This time, it worked out. A carbon monoxide detector costs around PLN 100 and can save a life!

Firefighters from Bolesławiec also took part in the operation.
