Firefighters at all PSP and OSP units will activate their visual and audible signals to pay tribute to asp. szt. Mateusz Biernacki. According to the police, 34-year-old asp. szt. Mateusz Biernacki, a police officer with the Warsaw VI District Police Headquarters, died in the line of duty last weekend. He leaves behind a grieving Family and Loved Ones.
The funeral ceremony will take place on November 29, 2024. Police officers are asking that, on the day of the funeral, police audible and flashing signals sound punctually at 12:00 throughout the country, as a gesture of tribute to Mateusz.
The police officer died after being shot by another officer during an intervention in Warsaw.
