This honorary title will be awarded to those who particularly distinguish themselves through volunteer work in various areas of life—culture, sport, social assistance, health promotion, ecology, tourism, activities supporting people with disabilities, and more.
The competition is held in six categories:
- adult volunteer,
- youth volunteer,
- non-governmental organization,
- donor,
- occasional volunteering,
- volunteer with a great heart (the candidate for the title “Volunteer with a Great Heart” is nominated by the Bolesławiec County Head).
We therefore invite County residents, schools, non-governmental organizations, parishes and institutions cooperating with volunteers to submit nominations for people, companies or organizations whom they would like to thank for their selflessness, commitment, generosity and kindness.
Applications may be submitted until 15 November this year (the date of receipt by the County Office is decisive).
When reviewing them, the competition jury will take into account, among other things, such elements as:
a) commitment to volunteer work,
b) innovation of activities,
c) ability to cooperate,
d) frequency and consistency of activities,
e) effectiveness and efficiency of the work,
f) ability to involve and encourage others to engage in volunteer work.
