– The District Prosecutor in Bolesławiec discontinued the proceedings pursuant to Article 17 § 1, point 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure—due to the absence of the statutory elements of a prohibited act – prosecutor Ewa Węglarowicz-Makowska, press spokesperson for the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra, reports.

On 9 August 2024, Izabela P. was reported missing. The search for her lasted 11 days. On 20 August, the aggrieved party knocked on the door of her acquaintances in Bolesławiec. P., questioned as a witness, stated in her testimony what had happened to her between 9 and 20 August.

Spokesperson:

Her testimony indicated that during that time she had not been deprived of her liberty, had not contacted anyone and had not received assistance from anyone, and, importantly, no one had harmed her.

During the investigation, Izabela P.’s parents, her husband, acquaintances, people with whom she was employed, as well as others who might have had information about the disappearance, were questioned, also as witnesses. An expert opinion in automotive technology was also obtained to examine the vehicle’s technical condition.

The prosecutor concludes: – No evidence was found that, during that time, the aggrieved party had been unlawfully deprived of her liberty or harmed in any other way.
