A month ago, Bolesławiec struggled with water that overflowed the Bóbr River and spread across the surrounding areas. Places located along the river were flooded.
At the worst moment, two bridges were closed: on Zgorzelecka Street, due to concerns about the crane standing next to it, and on Mostowa Street, due to fears that water would overflow the bridge.
Our cameras continuously showed the situation on the bridge on Zgorzelecka Street and in the area near the viaduct. The time-lapse film shows how quickly the water rose and how slowly it soaked into the ground.
The one-and-a-half-minute film presents footage from 10:00 on September 16 to 20:00 on September 18.
