The incident occurred on Saturday. The person who reported it notified the police that he had found his colleague’s body in the cargo area of a delivery van parked in Mirsk (Lwówek County).
Emergency services were called to the scene. A doctor confirmed the death of the 44-year-old man. The involvement of third parties was also initially ruled out.

According to the officers’ preliminary findings, the man had lain down in the cargo area of the delivery van the previous day in order to sleep. The next day (...) he was already dead.
The police and the prosecutor’s office are investigating the case. An autopsy is expected to clarify any doubts.
