On the e-petrol.pl website, we can read that the average national retail price of 95-octane petrol is PLN 5.89/litre. Diesel costs an average of PLN 5.93/litre. These are data from 2 October.
Unfortunately, in Bolesławiec, prices are around 30 groszy higher than the national averages. On Tuesday, 2 September, at the MOL fuel station on Zgorzelecka Street in Bolesławiec, a litre of petrol cost PLN 6.18, while diesel cost PLN 6.22 (cover photo).
Drivers from Bolesławiec remain frustrated by this price difference and continue to send photos showing prices at fuel stations in neighbouring counties to portals and social media services, stressing that it is much cheaper everywhere else. The differences reach as much as 70–80 groszy per litre. Therefore, many motorists try to fill up outside our city and county.
National media, including TVP Info, are also reporting on fuel prices below PLN 6. It is a shame that this does not apply to Bolesławiec...
